Mada Chest

Hand carved by Adam, a second generation wood carving and sculptural artisan we have partnered with on the line. The form is first cut and then shaped completely by hand using a various chisels. Interestingly, the coating used is a clear lacquer that both protects the wood and highlights all the markings created where Adam has been at work. Lacquer is also known to prevent yellowing/ discolouring from sun exposure and rot from moisture.
