2021 UP-SKILLS PROGRAM

THE MUKOSA PROJECT

In October 2021, we had set out to establish a up skills program that gave marginalized young women within the Bauleni, Chawama and Chilenje areas an opportunity to learn marketable skills including basket weaving using crocheting techniques.

Our first 15 young women went on to help create our Thread & Hook line of handwoven storage baskets, and trays.
